Tom Brady Calls UFL Championship, Hands MVP Trophy to Birmingham's Martinez

Tom Brady made a surprising return to football, but not on the field. The seven-time Super Bowl champion stepped into the broadcasting booth for the first time Sunday night during the United Football League (UFL) Championship between the Birmingham Stallions and the San Antonio Brahmas.

Brady, who recently signed a broadcasting deal with FOX after retiring from the NFL, used the game as a warm-up before he starts covering NFL games this season. In an impressive debut, Brady brought his signature insight and charisma to the booth, calling the action as Birmingham shut out San Antonio 25-0 to claim their third straight title.

The highlight of the night came when Brady presented the MVP trophy to Stallions quarterback Adrian Martinez. After handing over the award, Brady congratulated Martinez, saying, "That's a good one to win, my man."

This appearance marks Brady's official return to the world of football after his retirement from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following the 2022 season. He took a break in 2023 but will jump into his new role with FOX, starting with the NFL season opener on September 8, featuring the Browns against the Cowboys.

Football fans can look forward to seeing Brady bring his experience and passion for the game to the booth this season.
