Packers to Start Jordan Love in Preseason Opener Against Browns

In a significant move highlighting their confidence, the Green Bay Packers are set to start quarterback Jordan Love in their upcoming preseason game. Despite their recent substantial commitment to Love, the team isn’t shying away from putting him on the field.

Head coach Matt LaFleur revealed during a press conference on Tuesday that Love will be at the helm this Saturday when the Packers face the Cleveland Browns. The game is scheduled to kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET in Cleveland.

Alongside Love, several other starters will see action as the Packers continue their rigorous preparation for the 2024 season.

“There’s immense value in mentally gearing up for a football game,” LaFleur emphasized, as reported by Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Looking ahead, the Packers will travel to Denver for their second preseason contest and will wrap up their exhibition schedule at home against the Ravens.
