"James Madison Dominates Coastal Carolina in 56-14 Blowout Victory"

In a stunning display of offensive prowess, the James Madison Dukes routed the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers with a commanding 56-14 victory. The Dukes showcased their resilience after a surprising loss to App State, rebounding with a stellar performance that saw them amass 481 yards of total offense.

Quarterback Jordan McCloud spearheaded the Dukes' offensive onslaught, throwing for an impressive 324 yards and five touchdowns. The victory propels James Madison to an 11-1 record for the season, solidifying their position as a force to be reckoned with.

Following a controversial start to the season where James Madison considered legal action against the NCAA to secure a bowl bid, the Dukes have not only silenced their critics but also secured a spot in the postseason. The transition from FCS to FBS hasn't hindered their success, as they now stand among the elite bowl-bound teams.

Wide receiver Elijah Sarratt emerged as a standout player for the Dukes, recording six catches for 107 yards and an impressive four total touchdowns. His contribution to the team's success was instrumental in securing the resounding victory.

On the flip side, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, who entered the game with hopes of clinching the Sunbelt East and playing in the championship game, faced a disappointing defeat. Despite finishing the season with a 7-5 record, they fell short of their conference title aspirations.

The Chants' wide receiver, Sam Pinckney, achieved a significant milestone in the game by becoming the Sunbelt All-Time Leader in receiving yards. With an impressive 3,568 yards in his college career, Pinckney's contribution to Coastal Carolina's program is etched in the record books.

Although the Chanticleers fell short in this matchup, they still have a bowl game to look forward to, providing an opportunity to cap off their season on a positive note. The postseason appearance is a testament to the team's resilience and competitiveness, even in the face of adversity.
