App State Football Season Tickets Sell Out for Third Straight Year Amid Record-Breaking Success

For the third consecutive year, Appalachian State University has sold out its football season tickets, a testament to the growing enthusiasm surrounding the Mountaineers' football program. This season, Kidd Brewer Stadium, known affectionately as "The Rock," will host East Tennessee State, South Alabama, Liberty, Georgia State, Old Dominion, and James Madison. All five visiting FBS teams achieved bowl appearances last year, with Liberty standing out as the highest-rated Group of Five conference champion, earning a spot in the prestigious Fiesta Bowl.

ESPN reports that the Mountaineers are returning 68% of their production from the previous season, where they achieved nine wins, a Sun Belt East Division title, and a victory in the Cure Bowl. Under the leadership of head coach Shawn Clark, App State is poised to build on this success.

Last year, App State set a new benchmark for both the program and the Sun Belt Conference with an average attendance of 34,734 fans per game, filling their 30,000-seat stadium to 116% capacity. This remarkable feat marked the third straight year of record-setting attendance, reinforcing the passionate support for Mountaineers football.
